I’ve recently started an MA in Interactive Journalism at City University, thinking that it will let me develop the best range of skills needed to get a job later on.

Before starting the course, my use of online tools, social media and community engagement has been pretty basic and minimal, so I’m eager to change this.

The purpose of this blog then is to document what I hope will be my development throughout the year, as well as being a good platform to post articles I write along the way.
